FAQ

What is masklab™️?

masklab™️ was founded in March 2020 by converting an old warehouse in Hong Kong into an ISO-certified cleanroom with two state-of-the-art NCM machine from Taiwan. We are currently able to produce up to 100,000 surgical masks a day.

Who is behind masklab™️?

masklab™️ was founded by 3i Corporation, a Hong Kong company in the manufacturing business since 1998 with US branch company 3i Products. Our most recent products were in the outdoor furniture and cushions category, which gave us experience with non-woven fabrics, the same materials used in mask-making.

Why are you called masklab™️?

Prior to making masks, we were a metrics-driven manufacturer who obsessed over engineering the highest quality products. Mask-making is a new endeavor for us, but we have brought the same type of fastidiousness to the craft. We believe mask producers should have the attention-to-detail on par with scientific laboratories, hence the name masklab. To stay true to the name, we have outfitted the factory with Hong Kong's first automated filter tester so that we can verify the quality of every batch of our filters.

How do I contact masklab™️?

If you have any general inquiries or feedback, the best way would be to send an e-mail to hello@masklab.us. We’re available to help from Monday to Friday, 9AM—6PM.
